The Northeast series is the powerhouse of the SFT fiberglass line-up. Many anglers are amazed at how well these fiberglass fly rods fish and how much power is available them. All Northeast series models are of a 7-foot, 4-piece configuration with 2-5 line weights. Each model has a beautiful gloss green blank with ruby red thread wraps and gold trim wraps. If you are looking for a rod to fish small stream's and larger bodies of water, the Northeast series will quickly become your go-to rod. The Northeast models feature a spigot ferrule system that helps preserve the action and prevent hinge areas from forming when casting or fighting larger fish.
All rods feature our proprietary tapers, and a lifetime registered original-owner warranty. Every rod ships with a Great Bay Rod Company branded aluminum rod tube and rod bag. Great Bay Rod Company carefully inspects each rod for fit and finish and performs quality assurance testing on 100% of the products that leave our facility; testing includes, static deflection testing to insure precise guide placement, hand casting of all fly rods, and actual line weight measurement verification.
