The Brumby Creek series is the newest line in Great Bay Rod Company's fiberglass arsenal. These rods are part of the SFT fiberglass fly rod series. The two models that comprise this unique series of fiberglass rods are both 5-foot, 2-piece models in 2-3 line weights. Each model has the same beautiful gloss green blank and ruby red trim wraps of our other SFT models. Inspired by our friends in Australia, these rods are truly designed for small creek and stream fishing but have the backbone to present a streamer into a larger pool. The Brumby Creek models are medium to medium/fast action and a joy to cast. The Brumby Creek models feature a spigot ferrule design to help preserve the action of the rod and mitigate stiffness or hinge spots. Experience the joy that a lightweight 5 foot rod can bring.
All rods feature our proprietary tapers, and a lifetime registered original-owner warranty. Every rod ships with a Great Bay Rod Company branded aluminum rod tube and rod bag. Great Bay Rod Company carefully inspects each rod for fit and finish and performs quality assurance testing on 100% of the products that leave our facility; testing includes, static deflection testing to insure precise guide placement, hand casting of all fly rods, and actual line weight measurement verification.
