Lighter, more fishable designs with the best hardware. Once this instrument is in the hands of the angler we guarantee it free from defects and under warranty for the life of the rod. There are a lot of high end rod manufacturers that produce inferior products and Great Bay Rod Co. is out to change the way they do business. What's in a Name Great Bay Rod Co. took it's name from the 6,000 acre watershed that our facility is located in, The Great Bay Watershed of NH. This tidal estuary is located in Strafford and Rockingham counties of New Hampshire. The Great Bay Watershed provides one of the largest and most plentiful fisheries on the east coast, including striped bass, bluefish, salmon, and rainbow smelt. Over 132 different species of birds, fish, and plants occupy the various habitats that comprise the watershed. We felt it was appropriate to honor this watershed in our name.
